Individual consultations (50 minutes) attract a fee of $200.00 during business hours and $220 for after-hours appointments. If you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP or Psychiatrist, you may be eligible for a Medicare Rebate of $136.35 per session, for up to 10 sessions within a calendar year. As a result, the out of-pocket cost for a session during business hours is $63.65 and after-hours is $83.65.
Private sessions are available if you do not have a MHCP, or if you choose to continue treatment after the 10 sessions per calendar year provided under your MHCP have been fulfilled. If you have Private Health Insurance you may be eligible for a rebate under your provider.
To help make Psychological therapy affordable for low-income clients such as current Healthcare card / Pension card holders, consultation fees are set at a reduced rate. Please Contact Us to discuss further.
All session fees must be be paid in full at the time of the appointment.
** Please note that our fees are significantly lower than the Australian Psychological
Society (APS) recommendation of $300 per session (current to 2023-2024).
Cancellations
Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your appointment as this provides time for our waitlist to be contacted. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. In the instance of a non-attendance without at least 2-hrs notice, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
