Amber Gul Counsellor at Attuned Counselling
“Healing begins in relationship — where you feel truly seen, heard, and safe.”
I’m a registered counsellor with a Master of Counselling and Level 3 membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). I offer counselling for individuals, couples, and families in a space that is warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive.
My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel genuinely heard and understood. I support people navigating a wide range of challenges, including:
-
Relationship issues, couples counselling and intimacy concerns
-
Perimenopause and menopause transition for women
-
Family consultations/counselling
-
Parenting stress, family conflict, and transitions
-
Intercountry adoption (for adoptive parents and adoptees)
-
Perinatal anxiety and depression
-
Family violence recovery (working with children and victim survivors)
-
Grief, trauma, anxiety, and identity concerns
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I draw from:
-
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
-
Relational Life Therapy
-
Somatic and mindfulness-based approaches
-
Narrative and attachment-based models
-
Neurobiologically informed
Having lived across 4 countries, I bring a lived understanding of shifting identities and the challenges of bridging cultures.
I also run therapeutic and reflective groups for parents, women, and professionals looking to explore growth and connection in community.
Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, or support through a difficult transition — I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
