Amy Jacobs Relationship and Trauma Counsellor
I believe the quality of our relationships—with ourselves and with others—is central to a meaningful and fulfilling life. I work primarily with individuals and couples, supporting them to strengthen emotional connection, navigate relational challenges, and cultivate greater intimacy and satisfaction in their relationships.
My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect, creating a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner world, build self-awareness, and deepen authentic connection.
With a focus on fostering wellbeing, I integrate evidence-based approaches including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My work is also informed by Attachment Theory and the Gottman Method to support individuals and couples.
